Katydids, Basil and Stuffed Peppers
I went outside this morning to pick some fresh basil for my stuffed peppers and saw this katydid hiding among the leaves. Of all the plants in my yard, it knew which plant it most resembled and where to best hide. Nature never ceases to amaze me. Good thing the cute little bugger moved when I was snipping the basil, or I would have snipped him.
These are the yummy stuffed peppers I made using my fresh basil.
